The Angel (The Original Sinners) - Tiffany Reisz Wow, what an awesome twisted ride this book takes you on. Where to begin!?

I must admit, the book ended in a totally different place than what I anticipated. And surprising even myself I was a little sad about the way it ended.

Soren, Soren, Soren. You very terrifying, intimidating, beautiful, kinky, wonderful, giving, understanding creature. I will be the first to admit I was too scared of him to get on his train to begin with. He is the sadist of all sadists. (Warning he carries a knife and knows how to use it, I'll let you people who haven't read this yet use your imagination on what that means. Lol, you probably won't get it right either, read it!!) He still scares me a little but I recognize once you get on the Soren train you want to stay on the Soren train and the ending of this book just straight up made me sad. Sometimes you want what you can't have and once you get it, you find out it really wasn't what you wanted after all. I'm sure that will be explained more in the next book so back to this book.

There were so many revelations in this book. Some of those revelations so heartbreaking. And yet these people are out in the world and not in padded rooms. Some people aren't what they seem. I nearly drove myself mad trying to figure it all out. I still don't completely and am sure we will get more throughout the rest of the books. I hated Suzanne, sneaky little twirp who could get anyone to spill the beans, however she is the one who got us the reader lots of answers and once again I'll say everything was not as it seemed.

My favorites in this book were Griffin and Micheal, the Angel. Loved their story. I loved Griffin especially. He has a great personality, quirky, funny, carefree, loving, and very sweet. He helped micheal and in the end opened him up, no pun intended, out of his shell.

I know this review is all over the place, but that's how my mind is after this book. Holy cow, when the revelations started I was shocked at some of them. I blew up my GR buddy Vika's inbox with thoughts and questions on her thoughts. I love when books make me go all crazy like that, because the author actually makes you feel something. And when a book can make you loose your mind and go all crazy that means the author is really doing something right and you are really loving the story your in and getting caught up in a different reality. And I don't know about you, but that's the reason I read. Can't wait for the next book!!
