TWO WORDS....HOLDEN MAXWELL.....*SIGH*

That is actually enough words for me to describe this book, honestly. I have plenty of book boyfriends, Kristen Ashley's Hawk being one of them for which I have for sure staked my claim on. With that being said, MAX is the man of my dreams and I mean that literally!!! He is my knight in shining armor, fairy tale man. OH wow!!! I am a lover of the mountains, I am a lover of Colorado, I am a lover of A-frame homes secluded up on a mountain that is left as is, I am a lover of small cute quaint towns....I am a lover of MAX!!!! WOW!!!

Sexy Mountain Man Max was the very description of yummy!!! He was total hot Alpha male who wore flannel, thermal, and jeans, could get a bit of a temper, but was awesome in bed. I had heard great things about this book and it had been on my TBR list for a long time. What was I thinking, my dream man has been waiting on me?? LOL. Max was the town's hero pretty much who had great friends and was a much better friend. He would do anything for anybody at anytime and was hard working and had firm beliefs in preserving his mountain and was highly respected. I'm telling I could go on and on about this guy, I'm in love.

Nina was almost the exact opposite of Max. From England , she comes to have a timeout from her lame jackass of a fiance only to have a run-in with Max first thing. She's sassy and mouthy, but hides herself behind a shield to protect herself. She's dealt with her fair share of bad relationships including the current one with Niles, who I must say is a dick, as Max would say. She is hesitant to let Max in but once she does, just wow!!!

There are plenty of secondary characters that I loved and loved to hate. Mindy, I felt so sorry for but thought she was an awesome character and glad the way things ended for her. Shauna was the town ho bag bitch who got herself into a huge heep of trouble all around. Nellie, Nina's mom, was a mess that I loved to read about, but if she was my mom she might just drive me insane. Arlene, absolutely hilarious!!! And Bitsy, being so sweet and strong, boy did she surprise me in the end.

After reading this story, I am seriously thinking about moving to a small town in Colorado called Gnaw Bone and live from now on. I felt like it was such a homey place to be, despite the murders and kidnappings. If I have Max to protect me it wouldn't matter anyway, right??
