Entwined with You - Sylvia Day If souls could be mated with wishes, ours would be inextricably entwined."

image

OH MY GIDEON!! I feel like waited on this book FOREVER!!! When it was released and I saw several people not finishing it, I started worrying what could have possibly gone so wrong from the last book that no one was even finishing it. Maybe I'm too easy to please, I don't know and really don't care, I Freaking LOVED This book and can't wait for more. I was supposed to be buddy reading it with Sultan, Vika, and Dana....I sorta kinda got hooked and ran off and left everybody....Sorry girls, I couldn't help myself.

image

This book picks up immediately after Reflected in You. Eva knows that Gideon has risked everything for her, and she loves him even more than she every thought possible, but she still has so many questions about what was really going on the whole time he was away. Plus, if that isn't enough, for his safety, they have to stay away from each other. Of course for Eva and Gideon staying away from each other isn't possible, they just have to do it on the sly. Which brings a sexy new neighbor into Eva's life. Lucky, Lucky Girl!! Problem is both are possessive and want the world to know that the other is theirs, so the plan is to reintroduce themselves as a couple slowly.

image

"Angel, a crowd of millions couldn't hide you from me. I found you once. I'll always find you."

image

To me, and I know my opinion doesn't count a lot, but the people who didn't finish this book (or series), seriously missed out. So much happens here. I don't want to spoil ANYTHING, but for you lovely peeps who have read this you'll understand. I'll be vague but, Deanna....has to go. I don't trust her and she's out for blood it seems and I think the faster she's out of the picture the better things will be.
image
The Nathan/bracelet thing, wth??
image
it makes me extremely nervous of where this could go and could be a huge problem, IMO. Brett Klein....
image
Corinne, ahhh Corinne
image
And the Eva's mom......
image
And I have to say I'm rather worried about some of the other secondary characters and what's going on in their lives as well.

See all of this opens up so many possibilities for the next two books. I know lots of people have been upset that Ms. Day has decided to add more books to the series. All I can say about that is...IT'S GIDEON F@CKING CROSS, WHAT IS THERE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT??

image

SO, like I said before, this book was totally worth the wait. The sex scenes between Gideon and Eva never disappoint but I felt like they got even hotter in this book. That scene at the night club...I still have no words...the best I can say is SCORCHING HOT!! The Caribbean.....BIG HUGE ROMANTIC SIGH. Gideon has started opening up to Eva and they have made leaps and bounds in the trust department. If you haven't read the book yet and you're reading this...give this a chance, I'm not even lying and I don't want to offend anybody but this book was amazing and I don't get it why so many people didn't like it. If you have read it, I hope you loved it as much as me and we shall start the wait all over again for the next.

"You'll never lose me, angel," he vowed. "Wherever you go, however far, I'll be right here with you."

This is me when the release was getting close....
13 more days....13 MORE DAYS!!!! I'm. SO. FREAKIN'. EXCITED!!!!!! EEEKKKK!!!

Rock Bottom (Tristan & Danika, #2) - R.K. Lilley Please, oh please, oh please, tell me we don't have to wait a long time for more of Tristan and Danika.
image
What about kitties??
image
Lots of kitties...?
image
Well you can't blame a girl for trying...Seriously I can't wait. :/
Deadly Obsession - Katie Reus This is just the beginning....

Okay, I'm not really even sure where to begin with this review. This book was Fan-Freaking-tastic, this I do know!!

Meet Braden
image

She half snorted."Are you looking for me to stroke your ego?"
"No, but I've got something else you can stroke if you're interested."

He's the sheriff of Hudson Bay. In the last year three murders have gone unsolved, if that's not frustrating enough, a fourth has just been discovered, with a note letting him know that not only is this personal, but the killer is targeting women who have been apart of his life. Knowing that Lilly will be in town soon, he realizes the biggest target of them all will be on her back. With the past they have he wants to avoid her, but protecting her is more important.

This is Lilly
image

"Braden, my leaving had nothing to do with you. Nothing. I told you that then."

Going back to Hudson Bay is the last thing she wants to do, but there is no avoiding this. Her aunt has passed away and she has to take care of the details. She hasn't been in town ten minutes when already the town is at her door, but when she opens the door it's the one person she wanted to avoid. Braden. She knew she would see him eventually but when he informs her a murderer is on the loose and targeting women in his life she realizes she's going to be seeing a lot more of Braden than she ever expected. To make matters worse, she is dealing with her own demons right now, she can't be sure, but since arriving she's already seen a mask man smiling at her through the window. Things can't get any worse for her...bad thing about it, this is only the beginning.

image

This story was so different for me. Not only does the story have Braden and Lilly's POV, but the killers as well. Getting into the killers head was....wow. So different. Not only do you get an insight of why he's doing these things, but what he's plotting as well. From the very beginning he had me closing my blinds and double checking that my doors were locked. TOTALLY CREEPY!! He shows up in the very beginning with a knife and a mask on peeking in Lilly's windows even though he didn't wear this kind of mask this is all I could think of...
image

He was there. Watching her. Even though she couldn't see him, she could feel it straight to her bones. She was being hunted.

There was suspense, secrets to figure out, sexual tension, and twists too. I had so many questions. Who was the killer? Why did Lilly leave Braden all those years ago? Why are Lilly and Braden the targets? When are Braden and Lilly going to get back together?? Omg, I finally had to put it down last night because I was over analyzing everything and driving myself insane. LOL, I will say I had the killer figured out the whole time. I was so proud of myself, I'm not sure how I picked up on it, but I was right, lol. I will warn this is a darker read with some details that may make you a little sqeemish and creeped out, but it had me from the beginning and I loved every minute of it trying to piece all of the pieces together.
Midnight Secrets - Ella Grace "You were my first love, my only love, and you'll be my last. Till the end of time, I'll be yours forever."

Ella Grace has my attention, lol. This book was really, really good and I can't wait for the next in the series. I had got this book a month, maybe 2, as an arc. I'm really bad about letting myself get distracted with other books, It doesn't really matter, sometimes sparkly, shiny popular releases everyone else is reading and loving, sometimes books I've been waiting on forever, I can't ever really determine how it happens, I just get distracted. This time, I can't believe I let myself get so distracted. LOL

Meet Zach...
image

"I love you Savannah. You're my sunshine when there are only clouds, light when there is only darkness."

Know as the bad boy from the wrong side of town, Zach has never been the most liked guy. He's been blamed more than once for crimes he hasn't committed and a few times for other crimes he has, but as a teenager having to support his family he did what he had to do. Everything changes the night he meets Savannah.

image

"Sometimes I think this is the most beautiful place on the planet, and then I think that it's only that way because you're here."

Savannah and her two sisters are triplets. They have to be the most popular family in town, but not for reasons they want to be. When they were ten both of their parents died in a murder-suicide. The girls since have been raised by their grandfather. Yes, they have lots of money and live in a mansion, but they are still very down to earth even though the town has been gossiping about them most of their lives. On the night of the girls senior prom, Savannah has decided just to ditch and go home, her date is not going like she wanted it to. Just when things are going from bad to worse Zach showed up and saved her, after that they were together almost every day until the day before Zach was supposed to go to boot camp. Promises were made, forever discussed, and innocence given. Everything seemed like it would be okay between them, until promises were broken, and forever never happened.

image

Ten years have gone by, Zach and Savannah have "moved on" with their lives. But things in Nashville have become tense. Her boss thinks it would be best for her safety to take some time off, which means going back to Midnight, where Zach will be. Everything is tense at first, but as time goes on and it seems to start getting better. As she starts cleaning out the mansion, Savannah finds letters her grandfather had written to her grandmother. Some of the letters start making Savannah question everything she has believed. As she starts asking around it seems she has hit another radar and is being made a target all over again. Zach makes his move to protect her and also win her back at the same time.

image

This book had everything. Suspense, romance, sexual tension, secrets, a dose of southern hospitality, and even a few twists thrown in there. The town of Midnight is much like any small town, including the town I grew up in. Everybody knows everybody's business, sometimes, before you even know it yourself. Zach is the chief of police and I loved how he made something of himself despite the whole town being against him. He didn't do it because of them, but sure as hell came back and proved himself. I hated the way Zach had to grow up but loved the guy he was and the man he grew up to be. He's honorable, brave, protective of everyone he loves, and a hero. He made mistakes in the past but more than proved himself later on when given the chance and I ached for his story. I did think he went about some things the wrong way, but I get it when people are hurt and just need to do certain things sometimes you end up hurting people that you never meant to hurt. He admitted he was wrong and completely learned from his mistakes.

"Do you know how many nights I dreamed of this?" she whispered softly.
Surprised he looked up at her. "You dreamed of me?"
"So many nights."A sad smile tilted her lips.
His heart clenched. "I promise to make up for every one of those nights."

image

Savannah was so sweet. She had dealt with so much her entire life. From her parents deaths, the towns continuous gossip about her and her family, losing the love of her life and other things that if I spill will be a huge spoiler. At times, I did get a little aggravated at her because I wanted her to be honest with Zach about things, but understood that once someone breaks your trust it's so hard for them to earn it back. I really love how close her and her sisters were, and how they always confided in each other about everything. Savannah was strong, independent, brave, and confident. Even though she had a shy personality and was a little unsure of her relationship with Zach, she never was whiny or annoying.

I had so many people as suspects. I will admit I ended up being partially right, but the truth Zach confided was not what I expected. At times, the story was a little slow, I will admit, but the author was very good at building up to the end. I did expect a little more out of the climax, but was still semi-shocked when the truth came out. I definitely recommend the book and can't wait for more from the series.

Chasing Mrs. Right (Come Undone, #2) - Katee Robert "Sometimes there really is a happily ever after without any strings attached. You just have to be brave enough to face it."

AHHH, this book was really good!! This review is probably not going to be like my normal reviews due to the fact I can't post pics and that has put me in a mood, (Yes, I'm pouting) but I wanted to say something about this story. This mood has not effected my thoughts on the book though.

IMO, this book was way better than the first, I'll tell you why...

Ian has just came back from the army base in Japan. The war has left him with borderline PTSD. He's trying to keep his family in the dark because he doesn't want to worry them, but his sister has thrown him a party at Gabe's club and the noise and all the people around is just too much so he sneaks out. The closer he gets to the door the faster he needs out of this building which leaves him bulldozing into a gorgeous brunette and knocking them both down. Instantly there is an attraction but more importantly her touch completely calms his nerves. He's hurt her and she's bleeding so they go back inside to get her lef taken care of and a quick drink, one thing leads to another and they end up going to a hotel together and having insanely hot sex. He wakes up the next morning realizing due to the gorgeous girl sleeping with him, he actually slept all night long, only turns out it wasn't all night long because she's gone. He never even found out her name or number.

Roxanne can't believe the gorgeous man she slept with last night was Elle's brother. She's trying to figure out how to get herself out of this mess when who shows up, but Elle's brother, again, and he's seriously mad at her. Not to mention, they have a very uncomfortable exchange in the bathroom and then on top of that, Elle asks Rox to try to talk to Ian because obviously something is bothering him. Rox, not being able to deny her best friend, goes to talk to him and then receives the shock of her life time, not that he wants to take her to dinner, but that she actually wants to go with him.

"If you plan is to sex me into submission, I'm not saying it's working, but I'm not saying it's not working either."

Ian and Roxanne were hotter than hot together. I loved their banter.

"I've been thinking about f@cking you in front of the bathroom mirror all week. Every time I picture the look on your face as you came, I start counting down the hours until I can do it again."

Even though I loved Gabe, in the first book, Ian and Roxanne's story was so much better for me. Roxanne had this cool, sarcastic approach to her, even though she was fighting herself on the inside, she wasn't stuck up like Elle had been. Elle was all uptight and acted better than everyone, while Roxanne just sorta went with the flow. Ian was fighting demons. Demons normal people don't understand. I loved how Roxanne didn't push him for details but understood what he needed and was just there for him.

Of course Ian and Elle's mom was back with a vengeance. I liked seeing Elle take up for herself and Ian the same, but I think their mom needs a swift kick to the ego and seeing that the next book is Nathan's story I'm starting to think we won't get to witness that. :( Speaking of Nathan's story, I'm really curious what his little side comments have been about to Ian and can't wait to read his story. :)

Wrong Bed, Right Guy (Come Undone, #1) - Katee Robert "You owe me a kiss, but I'm not taking it until you want it."
"As if that'll ever happen."
"Keep up the attitude and you'll be lucky it I don't make you beg for it."

3.5 STARS

I really liked this book. It had been on my TBR list for a while, and several times I had thought about reading it but let something else get in the way. I liked it, but didn't love it,....here's why...

Gabe
image
"Christ, babe. Don't you ever let your hair down? If you did, it'd probably help with the stick you have shoved up your ass."

The story begins with Elle going to seduce her boss. The first part of this book I will say I LOVED, ABSOLUTELY. She has these high expectations for what she thinks the man she ends up with should be like, and even though she's not overly attracted to her boss, she thinks he's the ideal guy and could make the perfect husband. So, like I said the seduction...things are getting heated. Both parties are way into it, until the guy in bed with her speaks and she realizes, DUN DUN DUNNNN, she is not in bed with who she is supposed to be in bed with. EEK!! ahaha, she scurries out of there completely embarrassed and wondering who she was just in bed with. She can't deny the attraction she had to him, but that's the problem she was attracted to him and the guys she's attracted to our the bad boys who break her heart.

Elle
image
"There's something really really attractive about him in a Neanderthal sort of way. Like you look at him and want to have him haul you back to his cave, and have his wicked way with you. I mean sure he's rough around the edges, but his tattoos are amazing and that mouth is just sinful."

Gabe thinks he's having a fantastic dream, however he soon realizes it's not a dream after all, there is a girl in his bed trying to get it on with him. But soon this mysterious woman, jumps out and runs away. He doesn't know who she is or what that was all about, but he does know he wants more. Once he talks to his brother, he finds out that the woman is his brothers assistant and he's going to find a way to get her in his bed again, no matter what. He feels a pull toward her that he can't stop thinking about and he's not going to fight it until he gets at least a date from her, even though he wants much much more. Of course life is never easy for Gabe, and Elle isn't going to make anything any easier on him. As hard as he tries with her, it never seems to be enough. He knows he should just let it go, but something about her he can't stop thinking about and he's determined not to give up yet.

image

I will say the main reason why I didn't love this story was because of Elle...and her mom. I loved loved loved Gabe. He was so sweet, caring, and sexy as all hell. I thought he deserved better than Elle. I got it, at first, that she had been broken hearted and had trust issues because of a dude. She was protecting herself from being hurt again, and with Gabe acting and looking so much like the ex that made it that much harder, but the guy was a total sweetheart. My gosh the night with the allergy attack....how much more perfect did she expect him to be. Not to mention the fact that she always acted like a T-Total bitch who was better than everyone toward him and he took it and kept coming back. Also, her mom drove me apeshit crazy. I totally respect my parents and elders, but at some point you have to take up for yourself and tell other people to butt out and let you live your own life. Elle didn't really have the back bone to do that, and it was annoying.

image

I wish the book could have been a little longer too. I'm reading the next one now and Ian mentions the fact that Gabe and Elle had had a sit down with her mom and also that Gabe and Elle are engaged and planning a wedding I feel like we missed out on all of this and I really would have liked to read those parts. They sorta seem like big moments to not have got to be apart of. :(

Still I loved Gabe. I loved his POV and to me he made the story what it was. He was pure tattooed perfection and Elle was crazy to ever second guess herself with him. OF course in every book, there is the big climax, which I totally saw coming, but the way Gabe redeemed himself, was just...sigh...so so good. Like I said, I've already started the next book, I'm like half way through it and loving it and can't wait for more. Even though I complained about Elle during this review I still liked the book and still recommend it because Gabe is a guy that is totally worth reading about. :)
Complete Me: A Novel - J. Kenner I love you Nikki. I say it with every touch, with every look, with every breath that I take. I love you. I love you so much it hurts."

Sigh, what is it about these billionaires that pull me in? I must admit, that I'm not going to turn one down if he offers to come and rescue me and offer me the world, but the ones I've read about it's not so much the money that has me hanging on their every word. They all seem to come from things in the past that have driven them to want more, and then when they find that just right girl they fall head over hells and become over the top protective and possessive and I love it.

Meet Damien. I'm not sure if I used this guy in every review or not, but I just keep coming back to this guy and this picture.

image

"It's too big, too powerful. There's no start and no end, nothing with which I can measure the length and breadth of what I feel for you. I look at you and wonder how I can possibly survive the riot of emotions within me. You and I know better than anyone how pain and pleasure walk hand in hand. Passion, Nikki, remember? And with you, it fills me. Everything I've built? All my companies? All my billions? They have no value compared to you."

The story begins in this book right where Claim Me left off. Damien is facing murder charges in Germany. He has one option to prove he's not guilty, but that proof isn't something he's willing to share, even if it costs him going to prison and loosing Nikki. Nikki is a mess, she understands why he doesn't want the proof brought forward, but at the same time she selfishly is afraid to loose him. (I kinda gotta say I understood her selfishness here, I mean she was afraid of loosing the love of her life to prison here.) She finally agrees with Damien that he's right about the proof and she doesn't blame him or want him to bring the evidence forward.

image
To Damien, the sun will never set on our love.

Problem is, somebody has other ideas in mind, which ultimately let's Damien off from the murder charges, but doesn't make his life any easier or Nikki's for that matter. Damien and Nikki try to move on with their lives together, but with the threat over their head of who helped Damien escape the murder charges, what their motives are, and a stalker after Nikki, moving ahead isn't as easy as they want it to be.

"Between Damien and me, sex is as necessary as conversation. It's our method of discovery. Our sharing of trust. And our ultimate surrender.

image

This was a really good ending to this trilogy. If you read my status updates you know the book is jam packed with hot sex. Did I enjoy it? Yes, it was out of this world hot. I think some of my GR friends thought I was complaining, lol. Not really complaining, just sometimes it seemed the storyline got lost in overabundance of sex. But I get why they needed to sex it up so much. When Damien gets in his uber sexy dom mood, he is out of this world bossy sexy controlling man, and I love it. Damien needs to have Nikki's submission in the bedroom to help him sort through all types of crap in his life that gets out of his control, while Nikki needs to connect with Damien in order to feel alive when shit gets so deep all she desperately wants is to cut herself. Pain and pleasure with them run a fine line. With their world unraveling due to situations out of their control this makes them need to sex it up more than not. And the scene with the pearls.... How these two have that much stamina is beyond me, but hey, if you have might as well enjoy it. ;)

image

When all of the truths started coming out, for me, that's when the story really got good. Like 5 star quality good. The only thing was it was the last 20% of the book. I so had Monica Karts pegged, from the very first meeting. I'm really good with faces so even with different hair and makeup and everything else I'm not sure how Nikki missed that. Her face couldn't have changed that much. I understood why Nikki made the choice she made, it was all for Damien, and in turn proved how much she really loved him, but I felt like if she just would have been honest with him about what happened they could have avoided all of that time apart and hurt, and faked a break up long enough for Monica to be found. But hey, it wasn't my story and made for a dramatic moment, so I'm not complaining. Of course that situation did make them understand just how much they did love each other. haha, don't you love it when I'm cryptic and leave you wondering what the hell I'm talking about, haha, you gotta read it. :)

image

I'm sorta hoping there is maybe a short novella or something to come. As much as Damien and Nikki have overcome, I would have liked to have had at least an epilogue that looked into their future or something. Especially with an ending like that, it needed at least an epilogue to finish everything out. I definitely see an opportunity for another book series to come, about Jamie and possibly...Ollie??? Maybe then we will get the rest of Damien and Nikki's story from Jamie's POV. I Loved Nikki, loved seeing her getting stronger and learn to fight her urge even though she's not completely healed and Loved Loved Damien and his overprotective, possessive self!!! I'm glad he finally felt secure enough to let Nikki in and share secrets with her, even if he admitted he'll always have secrets.

Safe Word - Teresa Mummert I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about this book. I 100% love this author, so it pains me to give it such a low rating, but this book has just left me so confused...So, I'm giving it 3.5 stars and it's killing me but I have to.

image

The book starts out with Cole/Colt in a bar staking out his next target. His job is to kidnap girls, and hold them for two weeks until a ransom has been paid then he drops them off unharmed except for the nightmares of being kidnapped. While sitting in this bar, he runs into Lily that remembers him but he can't seem to place her. They exchange numbers, and since he is so intrigued by her he, he ends up meeting with her later at another bar for a drink. That's when he realizes that Lily is his Rose from childhood. He has been looking for her for years and now here she is. Problem with this is, she's just landed on his bosses radar which means, he now has to kidnap her.

image

The book goes back and forth from the present to Rose and Cole's childhood. Rose was rich and popular in high school. Cole was more like the kid from the wrong side of the tracks compared to her friends. Her and Cole were together, but they kept it a secret per Rose's request. However, Cole and Rose, had way more in common than anyone knew. Both dealt with "problems at home". Cole tried at every turn to save Rose from her problems but in the end, he didn't succeed. After he lost her, his life became all about trying to find her. Until he lost all leads and decided she must be gone for good. That turned him into a heartless man that he believes he is now.

"Why are you treating me this way?"
"I tried to be the good guy once; it didn't take."

image

I guess the main reasons I didn't like this book, as much, was it left me with so many more questions. The whole book is in Cole/Colt's POV. I love books like this and loved reading his POV, but it left some questions about what happened with Rose unanswered. Like what happened to her when she disappeared? Even though the book led us to believe what happened with Rose, what exactly happened with Craig? What I mean is, was she actually being raped over and over? Because she didn't act disturbed or anything like she was. With Cole, I felt like I never really understood him. I get him trying to find her, but honestly, it kinda ticked me off that he was so mad at her for leaving him. She was still in school, it's not like she had a choice to stay or not, especially with Craig being in control. And her changing her name, was sorta planted into her head by him when he offered for them to run away together. She was hiding from Craig and changing her name made perfect since to me. He literally went back and forth between hating her and loving her. I get it that it was a struggle for him because he felt abandoned from her so he was struggling with his feelings, but it was so back and forth that I felt like I was getting whiplash. :( I can't really explain it, because I got what the point of the story was supposed to be, how he struggled to be running from his past and forget Rose, and yet being happy that he had finally found her. The problem was he had dug himself into a hole that he couldn't get out of to let himself be with her even if he wanted to. I will say that once he made up his mind that he loved her, he didn't fight it and was willing to give up his life to keep her safe and I loved how hard he tried to do that.

image

I like the book, don't get me wrong, I just have so many questions left after the ending and still feel somewhat confused that I just can't give it more stars. :( Also, I'm hoping there is another book because it seems it's more of a Happy for now rather than forever and I can only imagine how much more complicated things could get once what happens in the ending happens. If they are married where is she going to stay and what is she going to do while he does his dirty undercover work? That could make an excellent next book.
Missing Hart - Ella Fox
I lost something precious that I can never, ever get back."
"Something, or someone?"
"Both," I whispered.

HOLY GEEZ!!! Ella Fox, you have 100%, without a doubt, outdone yourself this time with this book. I have been hooked on this series since the very beginning, but this story took the series to a whole other level. WOW!! Bravo!!!

image

This will be the easiest review I have ever written, because words are just pouring out of me, my problem might be shutting up.

If you've been keeping up with the series and the spinoff series 'Renegade Saints', you know that the Hart/Cross family has just discovered new additions to their family, Dillon, Leah, and Flynn. If you haven't been reading this series, get on it NOW. At the end of Flynn's story we discovered that Dominique and Dillon know each other, but weren't giving any details of how. This is their story.

image

Unfortunately their story isn't a fairytale...

The story begins with Dillon on one of many dates that he already knows is going nowhere, she turns out to be a total bitch, but he goes home with her anyway. Once home, he's a little disgusted with himself and lays down only to take another trip down memory lane, like he does all to often, and the trip down that lane is quiet a painful one.

Dillon
image

image

Dillon was once married to Marissa. Him and his sister had met Marissa in foster care and they had been together ever since. Even though him and Leah had had painful childhoods they nowhere near compared to Marissa's. Once older him and Marissa married, but it wasn't your typical marriage. Marissa couldn't be touched, but needed some sort of resemblance of normalcy. He gave her that, even though it was a huge sacrifice, he was so used to taking care of Leah and Marissa, he never blinked when she asked him. They had been living this way for several years when Marissa started getting close to a girl.

Dominique and Delilah
image

Dominique and Marissa had a connection. A connection Dominique clung to because she had never been able to talk about what had happened to her with anyone else. Dillon was overjoyed because Marissa tended to not get close to anyone. This is how Dillon met Dominique. The instant they meet, they both felt something, but neither acted on it because of Marissa. Over time, they all became extremely close, but a tragic encounter makes Marissa check out, and after weeks of being shut off she eventually checks out in a more permanent way.

image

This was the first of many times in this book that tears were coming out of my eyes so fast I couldn't even see to read, and I put that out there, because it normally takes a lot to make me cry in books, but I felt like I cried so much in this book. It was that powerful.

Dominique becomes the rock for Dillon and Leah, and after a while, Dillon and Dominique finally admit their feelings for each other. They start the most beautiful relationship and even begin planning for their future.

"I'm happy too. Sitting on this lawn with you right now will be on the highlight reel that I get at the end of my life. How I feel about you scares the hell out of me, but I wouldn't change that for the world."

The problem is, Marissa had told Dillon along time ago a slight lie about Dominique that had never came out. Dominique had had plenty of chances to tell him the truth but had found a reason not to every time. That's the thing with lies, they always come out, and this one had been one like a time bomb waiting to happen. When Dillon finds out, he completely flips on Dominique without even letting her really explain. He firmly believes that everything between them had been a lie. He kicks her out of his house and his life. Dominique is shattered and goes through a huge depression that worries her family, but she is given some hope to hold onto, until that too is stripped away from her. Her world comes crashing down even harder and for years she is really just a shell of herself. This being the second time, I cry my eyes out during this book.

image

"You cry in your sleep every night like you soul is dying and it isn't because of the accident."

Dominique realizes she has ultimately lost the only man she will ever love because she wasn't honest. So she disconnects from everything for a while. Over time she becomes somewhat better but that hole never completely closes. Her and Leah still are best friends and after a tragic situation happens, Dominique realizes she needs to do something to help Leah reconnect, so she takes her out to a gay bar, knowing they can both have fun, without the pressures of men hitting on them. Little did she know, that she would find one woman attractive. This is how she meets Tally.

Tally

Overtime, they start a relationship, but she knows she will never love Tally the way she should but ends up giving in and letting people believe things that aren't true, just to spare her family and Tally's feelings.

Okay...I think I've spilled enough now, because much more and spoilers will start slipping.

The characters in this book and the storyline was beyond any expectations I had. I will admit, I've read plenty of menages, and threesomes, and even a few scenes of m/m in books. But I was nervous about a f/f scene. I will admit, it didn't really bother me, it wasn't overdone. The scenes between Dillon and Dominique were amazingly hot, especially a ...surprise scene I really didn't see coming. Even though I've been plenty pissed with Dillon for giving up so easily on Dominique and at least not hearing her out, prior to that I was madly in love with him. OMG, he was so sweet and understanding. But the thing with this story is it showed that nothing was as it had seemed in the previous stories. Tally came across so likeable in the other books, but now.....

image

I'm left today reeling. I wonder about those letters. Both from Marissa and the ones Dominique wrote Dillon at first. When will they be read??? I have a slight feeling of one issue that will be addressed in both Dillon and Dominique's from Marissa and I want to read them so bad. I also, obviously am wondering about what comes next seeing the way things ended. I worry how Dillon will react about "the accident" that he will be mad at her. He shouldn't, she tried to get in contact with him and was coming to him that very night. I also wonder, how if he was in the bar, he didn't know she had had that accident. Things like that tend to draw people out because of their nosiness. How will her family, namely her brothers, react when the truth comes out?? Will the truth come out while the girls are in the situation that they are in and Dillon has no choice but to tell them?? Oh so many questions....

This book was amazing. I don't know any other way to describe it. I had no intention of sitting down and reading this all in one night, but once I started I couldn't stop. This story was heartbreaking. From Dominique's past, Marissa's death, the downfall of Dominique and Dillon's relationship, and the struggles Dominique suffers afterward I could have cried the whole book. I was hooked. I love Leah and hope she gets her own story, she has a lot to overcome herself, but mostly I need the next book for Dominique and Dillon. YES, peeps, this one has a cliffhanger and I'm literally hanging by my fingertips for the next one. OMG, I can't wait. HAVE TISSUES READY!!

Bound by Vengeance (SKALS, #2) - Adriana Noir Honestly, I'm still trying to organize my thoughts here. WOW, what a ride I have been on with this series. I think I should start with putting this disclaimer again, in case my first review wasn't read.

image

**DISCLAIMER** This is NOT your average romance. It's a dark, gritty, sometimes erotic psychological thriller with a heavy emphasis on plot. It also contains elements of dominance and discipline with dubious consent, psychological conditioning, and mental manipulation. There’s also gunfire and violence. If any of this offends you, this may not be the book for you. Intended for mature audiences only.

This book picks up right after
[bc:Sinister Kisses|17670231|Sinister Kisses (SKALS, #1)|Adriana Noir|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1365391129s/17670231.jpg|24667767]. Literally, he comes home and climbs into bed after the night in the ending of book two. Of course he wouldn't be Sebby if he didn't do that in his controlling, stern voiced way. The situation with Todd in the first book is over, but unfortunately it seems it was a small situation compared to the situation he and Taylor are in now, because now Todd's brother, Laychee, wants revenge and he's not the only one in on the play. Between the thing with the guards, Laychee, Monique and Mia, Marx, not knowing who he can trust, and having to be away from Taylor so much, Sebastian is on edge. He knows none of it is Taylor's fault but he is having more of a hard time to turn off the switch between personal and work life.

image

"I know I'm not an easy man to love. I can be heartless and cruel, and my life is a virtual hurricane, but you are everything to me. You are my anchor, Taylor. My heart, my haven-my home. None of this means anything without you. Life means nothing without you."

Taylor tries with everything in her to please Sebastian. But sometimes it seems things just aren't enough. Each day when Sebastian comes home she never knows what his mood will be. She knows in her heart that she loves him, but struggles with what's right and what's not when it comes to her punishments. They can be so painful and during that time all she really wants to do is run...or beg for forgiveness and get back in Sebastian's good graces. She is constantly walking on eggshells. She honestly thinks she is the luckiest girl in the world. Just a short time ago she was living in a run down apartment barely making ends meet, but now living in Sebastian's huge house, wanting for nothing, with a sweet new ride and a hunky man in her bed. But every time she goes on and on about that, I keep wondering at what cost??

image

A tiny voice in the back of her mind protested, insisting it was wrong, possibly even warped to love someone who could hurt her and to crave him the way she did, but it was like a fever-a sickness with no cure. There was no escape. There never had been. Not with him. There was no way to resist Sebastian, no way to fight back or win. If she left, he would every resource he had to find her. All she could do was raise the flag of defeat and give in.

I'm in the same boat about Sebastian with this book. I still want to love him so much. In his POV's, he really does love Taylor. I think he is 100% sincere about that. I honestly think slowly but surely Taylor is bringing more and more of his softer side out. But he's bringing his job home way too much and Taylor is having to live with the consequences. The simplest things sit him off. He hates the way Taylor fears him, but honestly what else does he expect. There was one part I was so beyond pissed off at him I thought I was going to have to put my iPad down. I know deep down that Taylor fighting back would be detrimental to her health, but sometimes I was just wanting her, so bad, when given some stupid order, to look him in the eye and scream "Fuck You". She's just too submissive for her own good, so she deserves a smack too, hahaha. NO really, Sebastian would kill me if I smacked her and probably kill her if she yelled at him, but hey, it doesn't mean that last night when I was so pissed at him while reading that I didn't visualize those things along with a frying pan incident to make myself feel better. :D

image

image

This book, in my opinion, was even more intense than the first. The suspense was out of this world. OMG, I didn't finish until 2am, but there was no way I could stop. I was hooked. Sebastian, himself, was even more...haha, scary?? He can be so sweet at times, gentle and loving, but whoosh one thing can be said and instantly he's the complete opposite. He can be over the top with his rules and expectations, but by the end of the book, I felt like I was starting to see a slight change in him. I'm hopeful anyway. I still want him to have his happy ever after. I also still think Marx has to go. I think Sebastian would relax a little if he didn't have Marx's pressure hanging over his head. lol, me reading this...

image

I still highly recommend the series!! It's dark and twisted, and I freaking loved it. I think I see hints of Sebastian growing into a better man for Taylor. They are small hints, and mostly just his thoughts in his POV, but I think he has discovered a little part of his humanity, it takes a while, and the majority of the small hints are in the end, but I think he's trying, and as long as Taylor sticks with him, it could be worth it in the end. She has still got a long road ahead of her, and hopefully after what happened he's gentler with her, but with that said, I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next series. I need to put in a shout out to Christine the Romance Junkie, she's been reading this series also and has talked me into stowing my frying pan once or twice and since she was ahead, warning me for when I needed to brace, lol. Thanks girl!! With that said, I NEED MORE NOW, even though Sebastian is a crazy whirlwind, I feel like my life will be dull and boring without him for a while, lol. Now, haha, I need a drink...

Sinister Kisses (SKALS, #1) - Adriana Noir
I'm going to start out with this from the blurb...

Don't take this disclaimer lightly, it is just as it says. This is a darker read that you won't be getting hearts and flowers from, unless you catch Sebastian in a sweet, giving, mood, and ultimately you better be on his good side as well. With all of that said, I FREAKING LOVED THIS BOOK. It was completely unlike anything I have read lately and literally had me hanging on every word, just wondering what sort of chaos would happen next.

Meet My "Special Agent" Sebastian
image

"That's the funny thing about life. You never know who is watching and where it might lead. Look at us. One minute I'm involved in a heavy operation. The next I'm staring into your eyes, wondering where this beautiful woman came from."

I really, really want to love this guy. The problem is Sebastian down right scares the pants off me. No, I'm not kidding, this guy is intense, he's like the anti-hero of all anti-heros. Run the other direction if he comes your way, but don't plan on getting away because he can and will find you. He is part of a secret organization, and has been conditioned for years to have no sympathy, starting with being in the army then being recruited into the FBI and now his current job. Years of training has made him ruthless, with no regrets, and no apologies for his actions. I think you get my point, scary dude.

"I have zero tolerance for disrespect. I expect more from my family, and I definitely expect more from you. Don't keep pushing me, Taylor. I will run things as I see fit, especially in my own home. Do you understand me? Don't talk back. Don't argue. Just listen and take those warnings to heart because I won't give them again."

Meet Taylor
image

"Trust me, Just trust me and let me love you the way you love me. I don't want things. I want you and I want you to trust me enough to be the man you said you wanted to be. That's who I fell in love with."

This poor girl never had a chance. The story begins with Taylor on her knees with a gun held to her head. Turns out she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, but she has seen too much and it will cost her life. Just flat out bad luck, but then Sebastian steps in and saves her...or does he. Sebastian goes on to ask Taylor out to dinner, and at first she says no, but she can tell no isn't an option so decides to just to go with it. From the very beginning, Taylor can sense Sebastian has a dark side, she just doesn't know how dark that side really is. After that first dinner date goes really well, Sebastian and Taylor start dating, everything goes really well for a while, but Sebastian starts urging Taylor to move in with him. It all seems too soon to her so she declines, but after a drive by shooting at her apartment, her choice is all but taken away from her and Sebastian convinces Taylor now is the time to move in.

image

Sebastian is controlling, short tempered, and very edgy. I'm talking this guy can change moods like a flip of a switch. Taylor soon learns this after a horrible misunderstanding and starts being cautious around him. But Sebastian loves Taylor and tries to hide his darker side from Taylor, but slowly over time things keep happening and his darker side comes out little by little. Let's just say Christmas Eve was a huge disaster, to say in the least, and ultimately sends everything else spiraling out of control. Just a huge advice from me, when you go to Sebastian's house follow the rules, ha, don't disrespect him and never, whatsoever do you ever, touch what's his, especially Taylor. Unless you don't like your face...hint hint. Okay but that's all I'm spilling. My reaction...lol

image

I feel like I'm saying the same thing over and over about Sebastian, but I just want that to be out there, so people don't start this book expecting one thing and getting another and then hating it because of that. This book deserves recognition, it's such a complicated, dark, raw, gritty read. Yes, there are times of abuse and violence, the disclaimer says that. Not a shocker. Yes, 75% of the time I was screaming in my head, "RUN, TAYLOR, RUUUNNNN" but once she hit Sebastian's radar she couldn't get away even if she wanted to, and Sebastian made that very clear around 89%. LOL, just read my updates. They all pretty much start with OMG or F bombs, but as the book goes on it gets darker and more intense and I'm going to say this again, I FREAKING LOVED IT. It's not for everyone, if you don't like violence or abuse just don't start it. You'll be highly disappointed and give it a bad rating and I just don't want that for this book.

Sebastian is crazy, lol. No, not in that sense, but I just mean it's a crazy ride. He's hot and he's cold. You don't cross him. He only gives you one warning of what he expects and if you don't get that warning there will be punishment. I'll just say one scene made Christian Grey and a belt seem like a sweet puppy. The thing is, Sebastian wants to be the guy Taylor deserves. Thank goodness, it's duel POV or Sebastian would be hated, because he really does love Taylor, it's just that his need for control and lack of sympathy overpowers everything else.

image

Taylor has to be Sebastian's soul mate. She has to be, because some of the things that go down between them, would have me running like the wind, even though I know he would find me and punish me, I would have to try. She's brave in her own way. Yes, she caves and just gives him everything that he wants, she's submissive so it's in her nature for starters, also she knows she doesn't have much choice, she's trapped, but she still loves him unconditionally. How she walks after some of their sex scenes is beyond me, especially that first time, but hey, I give her dibs. I know I normally like my heroines fiesty and smart mouthed, but I realize in this book, Taylor doesn't have that option, and if she tried to pull that off she would suffer the consequences. Speaking of Consequences, if you like that book this book is one for you too. Just had to put that in there, lol, because I thought that the entire time I was reading it.

"It doesn't matter how you got yourself into this, cupcake. There's no getting out."~Josh

Go grab this book people. I don't know much more else to say without further repeating myself. It has lots of suspense, violence, and sex. When I mentioned Christian Grey earlier don't confuse it with BDSM. Sebastian is more of punishment and control. Sebastian and Taylor love each other, I just think that Sebastian has been conditioned for so long, he shows it the only way he knows how. He has found something to love and he holds onto it no matter what, even if he has to force her to stay. He's terrified of losing her he just has a different way of showing it, and sometimes the way he does things are ass backward but that's his way. I think he's misunderstood. I could actually go on and on, but I don't even know if this makes any sense, I feel like I have just rambled, but there it is, lol. I love this series and as soon as I run some errands I'm jumping right back into the next book. :)
His Risk to Take (Line of Duty, #2) - Tessa Bailey image

Troy
image
"As long as you're with me, I don't want some punk thinking he has the right to touch your gorgeous face. If you want to be touched, you tell me where, and I'll take care of it. I'm the only on who touches you now, Ruby. ME."

Troy has moved from Chicago to make a new start. He's only been in New York for a week when he goes out with two guys from the force for a drink. They are joking around about women, but he's still grieving the loss of his partner so he's sorta just sitting ignoring the guys when Ruby walks in. See he comes across as the good guy, but in reality in the bedroom he turns into a dirty talking, controlling man who knows exactly what he wants and how to take it. From the moment he lays eyes on her he wants her, but Ruby turns out to be quiet a surprise when she hustles some guys at a pool game. So, then he decides that not only does he want her, but he has to protect her too, it's just he doesn't know at this point how much.

Ruby
image
"You've heard that proverb, teach a man to fish and you'll feed him his entire life? Teaching me how to play pool was his way of feeding me for life."

Ruby has led a complicated life. She's sassy, independent and trying to break away and start her life the way she wants to live it instead of the way she was raised to live it. The problem is, it's taking a little bit of time to get to where she wants and hustling is still essential to be able to make it until she can quit all together. The minute she meets Troy she is intrigued by him. But once she discovers he's a cop she isn't sure how much she can trust him. But the pull between them is too strong to avoid which leads her into going home with him. She scoots out the next morning before he wakes up, but Troy doesn't give up that easy and hunts her back down. She has walls built to protect herself, but, eventually he breaks down all of her walls.

image

I can't get into that damn head of yours." Troy growled. "You're so determined to keep me out. But your body knows who it answers to. It answers to me, doesn't it? Le me in, Ruby. Let me in."

"I've let you in more than I've ever done before. With anyone." Ruby sobbed.

"It's not enough. I want it all. I need everything you have."

I liked this book, but I can't say that I liked it as much as I liked the first in this series. There's really not one specific thing I can point out for me not liking it, except maybe it felt to be shorter than the first, which led for it to seem more rushed. I totally get it that short stories are not going to elaborate on everything, but it just seemed to me this one was more rushed than the first and sometimes that just takes away from the story for me. However, the sex scenes were scorching hot, especially one part with a pool stick and table. OMG, that was sooo HOT!!! And Troy has a way with making Ruby give into his demands with the use of his dirty mouth and hot sex.

image

If your looking for something short for in between longer books this one is perfect. And I definitely recommend it if you have already started the series. I can't wait to see who's story is next, I'm thinking maybe Brent and seeing as the way he already is avoiding falling for someone I think it will be interesting. (btw, I found so many hot pool pics, but since all of the flagging lately I didn't put any of them, it's so disappointing. :()

Unbeautifully - Madeline Sheehan In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on. -Robert Frost

Holy. Batman.... This book was amazing!!! My first night of reading it I only made it to 37%, but the next night, couldn't. put. it. down. It was sexy as hell in some places, amusing, exciting, dangerous, and down right heartbreaking.

My Ripper
image
"Baby, man like me got no business with a girl like you. You're nothin' but f@ckin' beauty and I'm whole lot of f@ckin' ugly who's already halfway to hell."

Ripper and Danny's romance is no where near the perfect romance. Actually Danny even says herself it's "more like a car crash, that leaves no survivors with only bad memories and heartache." From the beginning it is anything but normal. But the pull between them become so strong they can't even think about fighting it.

Everything has beauty. Even the ugly. Especially the ugly.
Because without the ugly, there would be no beauty.

Ripper was...injured, that is a mild definition of it, during the whole Deuce, Eva, Frankie debacle. He is left scared, emotionally and physically, and pretty much angry with the world, especially Eva. Eva and Deuce's story is told so much more in this book and it was heartbreaking, but because of everything that is happening between them Danny's life is started in a downward spiral.

Danny
image
"You may not be beautiful the way you were before, but you're still beautiful. To me."

On her prom night long story short she ends up with Ripper and this is the beginning of everything. Afterward, neither knows what to do about what happened. Ripper knows that when Deuce finds out, he's a dead man. However, neither can stop thinking about the other. They avoid each other for a while but eventually they can't escape each other and they realize they can't stay away from each other. They sneak away here and there, and even spend a week together at Ripper's cabing. But nothing ever stays the same, in one quick moment everything came crashing down.

image

This book had me hooked. I went through so many emotions. I loved the Deuce and Eva storyline. It actually made me a little sick to my stomach in some parts. Deuce was back with his badass self, sometimes you just want to hate that guy, but in the end, he always seems to pull through. I give it up to Eva, I'm not sure I could be in a relationship with Deuce, but hey that just me and I'm not saying no to every biker in the story, just Deuce, lol. He's a hard one to crack.

Ripper and Danny was like an emotionally roller coaster for me. When things were good, oh my, they were so damn good, but when things went bad, wow, they were gut clenching bad. Some parts were so hard to read, I had tears in my eyes.

image

I can't wait for the next book. In the end, Tegen was massively being a huge b!tch. I really have no problem with her if the biker life is not for her, but for the way she acted about her mom, grrr, I wanted to choke her. Cage better get on that and put a cork in the attitude before she gets out of line and someone else does. I'm actually really excited about all of the rest of the books. I hope Dorothy turns out okay, but honestly I can't wait for ZZ's story. I know he had a hard time in this one and I hope he ends up finding him an old lady that gives him a HEA. He seemed like a nice dude, I just hope that his hurt doesn't cause him to turn into a jackass.

Whatever your reading, stop and jump into this series. Yes, it's raw, with badass bikers who drink too much, cuss too much, and screw around too much. They are crude, don't take any shit off of anyone, and would rather kill over working things out, but...they are bikers...would you expect any less?? More importantly when they love, they love hard. haha, physically and emotionally, but they will die for what they love.

Forgiven (This, #3) - J.B. McGee "She was lost in so many different ways. Out in the darkness with no guide. Sometimes love can come and pass you by while you're busy making plans."

In all honesty, I'm not really sure how I feel about this book. So, I can only seem to want to give it 3.5 stars. :( It had some fabulous parts and then some parts that just really disappointed me, especially after the last two books.

image

This book picks up right at the end of the second book Mending. Bradley and Gabby are finally together and they seem to be closer now than they have ever been. So, now begins the planning for the rest of their lives, but first they have to plan their wedding. However, the debacle with Veronica and Ian is still lingering in the back of their minds. Gabby agrees to move in with Bradley, and he is over the moon, but as their lives become more crazy with school, wedding planning, buying houses, and then the huge situation with Veronica and Ian, it almost appears that they got to spend more quality time together during their long distance relationship.

"Gabby, you have my mind, my body, my soul, and you are my heart. I didn't even know that this was even possible for me. If it's a dream...Then, I don't wanna ever wake up."

I really liked this book but not as much as the second book. There were so many twists and turns that it definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved seeing Bradley and Gabby growing closer together and also Gabby getting so much stronger, but there was so much going on, that the parts that had been building for so long felt way to rushed. OMG, come on, Bradley and Gabby have been waiting for, what...a year, I can't keep up at this point, and then it finally happens and it was like 2 pages long and I was actually confused on the details of some of it. I'll leave the details out so as not to spoil, but for me it was a huge massive disappointment. Veronica and Ian's book packed more steam, and they aren't even the main two characters or their buildup :( I know this is a short story series, so I understand that at times these type of stories get rushed, but....SInce book one things were leading up to this point and then that was all I got... It was just a massively huge disappointment for me.

image

Like I said, I'm not trying to punk this book, it had some awesome parts as well. There were so many twists and turns, some completely unexpected. Plus, the multiple POV's was great. I love getting to see into the different POV's especially when storylines are so complicated. I have loved Bradley more with each and every book, even though this book didn't concentrate as much on him and Gabby, he has changed so much and I just love how supportive he is of Gabby, no matter what, and Sam too.

With all of this being said, I have seen that the next book is a continuation of Ian and Veronica's story and I am actually excited to read it and the next is Sam's story and even though I'm excited to read it too, I hope this isn't the ending of Bradley and Gabby's story. I hope they at least get a short novella or something that tells a little more that happens in their future. I just don't feel like with all that happened with Veronica and Ian, Gabby and Bradley's story is all of the way complete. I want to see how Bradley reacts when Gabby get preggers, knowing this time that the baby will really be his, and how everything played out with Veronica and him getting so attached to her baby only to find out it wasn't his afterall. I think that is an extremely important part of this story that needs to be given before the series ends.

Mending (This, #2) - J.B. McGee
"You can't run away from anything that presents a risk or has potential to require hard work."

WOW, I have to start off by saying that this book was so awesome. After the first book I was a little hesitant to keep going with this series, but this book completely made up for the first one. This book had the same concept as the first book. It went back and forth to the present and this time the past which was now when Gabby and Bradley left off in the first book. Also in this one we got duel POV's, yay!!

Bradley
image

"There is no one else for me. If I can't be with you for the rest of my life, I will be alone. I'll be miserable."

Mending starts right off with a bang. Bradley and Gabby have grown to really care for one another. The long distance relationship they agreed on in the first book has been working out well. Gabby is in Atlanta this weekend to be with Bradley. But when an unexpected visitor shows up, Gabby goes back to her old ways and runs. Bradley's life starts spinning out of control as he realizes he may have finally lost Gabby for good. But when he sits down and thinks things through he realizes not everything makes complete sense. In the meantime, Gabby is completely crushed, not paying attention at all she opens her door and realizes that her day just went from bad to worse, when the last person she ever wanted to see again is standing there. YES, creeptastic IAN, begging for forgiveness.

I was captivated by the story. I literally started it at 11pm and tried to put it down twice but laid there thinking about it until I had to roll back over and pick it back up. Eventually I gave up trying to put it down and just read the whole thing until I was done at 3am. This time I really loved the "Past" Storyline. For one, like I mentioned above we got duel POV's. I love Duel POV's. This "Past" Storyline showed the buildup of how Gabby and Bradley got to the "Present Day" Storyline. And then wow, the "Present Day" Storyline was so intense. Even though I loved the "Past" Storyline, I found myself so anxious to get back to the "Present Day" Storyline because it had so many twists and turns. I kept trying to figure out what was going to happen next. And even when I had figured out what was going on, I still wondered what would happen next. That is what ultimately kept me up all night long.

Gabby
image

"My soul needs him as much as my lungs need air. So much that I feel like I'm suffocating just being away from him."

Gabby had found her happier place in this book, which was so impressive considering how broken she was in her first book. Even when the walls started crumbling down, she didn't completely break, sure she cried and cried, but when demons of her past presented themselves she dug deep and ultimately finally defended herself. I loved seeing Ian get put in his place. I loved that Gabby and John were still close. He makes a great best friend and I hope they remain that way. Of course Sam is the ultimate big sister. I also love how Bradley knows that Gabby and Sam only have each other so he always tries to include her. I love his maturity and mostly his willingness to wait for her. I definitely recommend this series, the first book was a little hard to get through, but this one totally made up for it. :)
